AWAKENING OF THE FEMALE

The title of my main series of paintings is "AWAKENING OF THE FEMALE". Here I pay special attention to the importance of woman and how she is perceived in society. In 8 paintings I created a history of development starting from discovering life’s problems to trying to solve them. I put an accent on a contact with woman’s own body. It’s not only about eroticism, but also about such concepts as closeness, touch, sense of security, body awareness, and education’s traditions. With my paintings, I want to show the necessity of creating a special attitude to your personality and body for being a person in harmony with yourself and your own values, not only in following social canons. I am sure that every woman touches similar themes at least once in her life, so she can understand the necessity of creating my paintings.

At that time, the series included eight paintings: "Self-Portrait", "Secret", "Drowned Maiden", "Pearl", "Fight", diptych "Twins", "Vocal".
